The Air More Uptempo’s profile has risen in 2017 thanks to Nike releasing a combination of dope retros and lifestyle versions. This time, the classic basketball model known for its embellished “AIR” branding receives a colorway inspired by Scottie Pippen’s Chicago Bulls days. This iteration features a white, black, and red colorway, with the “PIP” logo on each heel. (The “PIP” insignia was introduced on his first official signature model, the Air Pippen 1 in 1997.) The white leather upper is offset by bold black “AIR” branding to give this sneaker an eye-catching look. The visible air units on the midsole appear in red to complete the design.
